State of Downtown

This event is a chance to celebrate a year of accomplishments and progress for Downtown Boise and the Downtown Boise Association. The program features remarks from invited guests, a panel discussion highlighting Downtown Boise, the announcement the year’s Cooley Award recipient, overview of annual report*, networking, and light refreshments. Additionally, attendees will hear about some thrilling downtown enhancements. This event is hosted annually in September and invite all members of the community to join us!

    • Our Path Home: The public-private partnership of 30+ agencies working toward ending homelessness in Ada County—is launching a collaboration to end family homelessness. Major projects include New Path Community Housing and Valor Pointe. Learn more here.
    • CATCH: We work to create a safe, healthy, connected community by embracing Housing First best practices, empowering those without housing, building collaborative partnerships, and increasing public understanding to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. Learn more here.
    • The Homeless Coalition in Boise City/Ada County: A diverse membership group of homeless service provider agencies, homeless persons, volunteers, advocates, and concerned individuals committed to ending homelessness through public education, policy advocacy, and coordinated services. Meets the second Wednesday of every month. Learn more here.
    • Jesse Tree: We provide support to our neighbors at risk of eviction when they need it the most, to keep them in their homes. Learn more here.
    • Downtown Boise Neighborhood Association: The goal for these associations is to work with their communities to create vibrant and thriving neighborhoods that increase the livability for their residents. Learn more here.
