at Boise Centre East
We look forward to gathering with you to recap important Downtown Boise developments in 2025, honor our neighbors who made a unique difference in our downtown, and take a detailed look at what makes Downtown Boise a youth-friendly city. DBA will be partnering with Communities for Youth for a panel discussion on why welcoming young Boiseans into our businesses and community spaces is vital for a healthy and vibrant downtown.
Do you know somebody who went above and beyond to make Boise better in 2025? Nominate them for our annual Downtowner of the Year award! Anybody who lives or works downtown and made a difference last year is eligible.
At last year's Annual Meeting, we gathered in The Basque Center to take a look at how Basque Culture contributes to Boise Culture. Guests went on a food tour of The Basque Block for pintxos at Boise Favorites: Bar Gernika, The Basque Market, Leku Ona, and Bardenay. Executive Director of The Basque Museum and Cultural Center, Annie Gavika, shared a presentation on Basque History in Boise, and the 2024 Downtowner of the Year award was presented to Officer Ed Moreno to honor his many years of service as Downtown Boise's Neighborhood Contact Officer.
