Annie Gavica, Basque Museum & Cultural Center
Annie Gavica serves as the Executive Director of the Basque Museum & Cultural Center in Boise, Idaho, where she leads efforts to preserve, promote, and perpetuate Basque history and culture. A Nevada native with deep Basque roots, Annie moved to Boise to earn a Spanish degree with a minor in Basque Studies from Boise State University and has since been dedicated to strengthening cultural connections and fostering community engagement locally, throughout the western United States, and in the Basque Country. Passionate about heritage, education, and collaboration, Annie works closely with community members and organizations to ensure the Basque Museum remains a vibrant hub for learning and cultural exchange.
