Keep Calm and Paint On: Josh Udesen and Betsie Richardson
For the month of November, Capitol Contemporary Gallery is pleased to announce a new show of work by Boise artists, Josh Udesen and Betsie Richardson. The opening reception will be on First Thursday, November 7th, from 5-9 pm featuring wine by Par Terre Winery. The show is free and open to the public and will run through November 30th.
JOSH Udesen finds solace in the paintings he creates. Each piece represents the places he loves, the joy of being outside and recognition of the simple pleasures in life. In a year filled with tumult, the act of painting was his true escape.
BETSIE Richardson’s new oil paintings bring you on a journey into the soul of an artist, from a self-portrait swimming in a Costa Rican river on horseback to a still life of the blue jean overalls she wears when painting.
