Heather Meuleman

Wednesday, July 3, 2019 - Alive After Five Summer Concert Series

Heather Meuleman is a Boise-based singer-songwriter writing and performing folksongs and murder ballads that study Idaho’s past, the complicated nature of relationships, and the lessons she’s learned along the way. She explores a range of styles and genres built to fit each story that are translated through tempos, melodies, and key signatures that wrap your tightly around the feeling of each song.

Heather picked up her first violin at age 3 and started singing shortly after. She dabbled with guitar at 16, an instrument she rarely performs with live but uses exclusively to write songs. Heather’s played stages big and small across the Northwest with musical projects Jackalope Saints, The Pan Handles, and others, and has opened for local and national touring acts. Together with her incredibly talented musical friends, her songs have recently come to life for the very first time.
