Blue City Comedy brings you Stand-Up every Saturday night at the downtown Mad Swede Brew-Hall. Join us for tasty drinks and belly laughs.
Mad Swede will be serving up award winning beer, delicious craft seltzers, swedish meatballs and hand pies. Come grab dinner and a show!

BETH NORTON is an Idaho based comic, story-teller and consummate learner. Her artistic and educational pursuits are fueled by her experiences growing up in the foster care system and the frustrating inequity she sees perpetuated in America’s institutions.
Beth has been a contributing opinion writer for the Idaho Statesman, two-time featured story teller at Story Story Night and once played a wife and mother in a health care commercial. She’s performed in the 208 Comedy Fest and Treefort’s Comedyfort. Pre-pandemic she produced a weekly show called, “The Boise Happy Hour Comedy Showcase.” With nothing better to do during COVID lockdown, she completed her Masters Degree in Public Administration at Boise State University where she focused on policy implementation and analysis. She is not sure where she is going with all this but is prepared to accept that serving in a restaurant may be her one true vocation.
As a childhood trauma survivor, art and the outdoors provides Beth infinite opportunities to reconnect with the human experience and find peace. She would not be where she is today without affordable birth control and a lot of help from a few great people who have remained steadfast in their love and support. Beth’s goals include writing on a team, writing a book, writing anything that gets published, writing consistently, writing the truth, and supporting her local comedy scene.
