Downtown Boise’s newest planned attraction, Glide on Grove, is an all inclusive, and completely FREE activity for the entire community to enjoy.

The skate rink will encompass the City of Boise’s holiday tree each year from Thanksgiving weekend into January, creating a magical, seasonal destination for all.


That's right, FREE!

Thanks to all of our sponsors, partners, and supporters, especially Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health, Inc.Idaho Central Credit Union, the skate rink is completely FREE to the public to enjoy.

The skate rink will open right after the FREE Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday night, November 29, 2024 at 6:00pm and will run into January 2025.

ACCESSIBILITY

Glide on Grove strives to be accessible and accommodating to all downtown visitors and event attendees. This event provides accessible bathrooms, wheelchair access and most furniture are movable. Accessible parking stalls can be found throughout downtown and in the nearby public parking garages.
