Young Discoverers is back, exclusively for members!  We are so excited to share this wonderful opportunity for our littlest visitors and their grown ups to explore STEAM concepts together at the Discovery Center of Idaho. This month we are partnering with Abrakadoodle, a local arts education provider, who will be leading hands-on learning in each session. Members can register for up to one session per week. Children ages 2-5 and their grown-ups are welcome!*

NOVEMBER CLASSES:
Each week will have the same program twice, on Saturday and Monday. Please register for only one session per week. Spots are limited. November 5th and 7th:
Parts of an Apple Doodle – We will learn about apples and their various parts. We will learn about shapes, fractions and different colors of apples while making apple print pictures! November 12th and 14th:
Sound Sticks Doodle – We will explore our sense of hearing while we learn about instruments and distinguish the different sounds we hear. We will be creating our very own instruments to explore this amazing sense! November 19th and 21st:
Kool-Aid Painting Doodle – We will explore our senses through Kool-Aid painting! We will be observing chemical reactions between Kool-Aid and paint while making our own masterpiece! November 26th and 28th:
Oil and Water Painting Doodle – We will learn about the repelling force between oil and water all while creating a painting! We will use various shapes for printing and painting on our science experiment!
