Young Discoverers is back, exclusively for members! 
We are so excited to share this wonderful opportunity for our littlest visitors and their grown ups to explore STEAM concepts together at the Discovery Center of Idaho. 
This October month we are partnering with Abrakadoodle, a local arts education provider, who will be leading hands-on learning in each session. Members can register for up to one session per week. Children ages 2-5 and their grown-ups are welcome!*

OCTOBER CLASSES:
Each week will have the same program twice, on Saturday and Monday. Please register for only one session per week. Spots are limited.
October 3rd and 8th:
Label Mix Up Doodle – We will learn about fall leaf shapes and colors. We will experiment with various media and rearrange shapes to create a mixed-up picture!
October 10th and 15th:
Ladybugs and Friends Doodle – We will learn about ladybugs and other bugs in their leafy habitats. We will recognize circles and use multiple materials to create a mixed media collage.
October 17th:
Patrick Davis Tree of Life Doodle – We will learn about trees and create a miniature tree sculpture inspired by artist Patrick Davis. We will learn to mix colors with modeling compounds to create fall- colored leaves.
October 19th and 24th:
Paul Gauguin Orange Doodle – We will experiment with watercolor and salt and learn to recognize circles and semicircles. All while we create a mixed media still life inspired by Paul Gauguin.
October 31st:
Louise Bourgeois Spider Doodle – Combine nature and art while you learn about Louise Bourgeois sculptures. Learn about spiders and webs while you celebrate Halloween.
