This weeks beginning art class is Introduction To Champleve from 11am to 1pm with Delia Dante

$60 per person for this 2 hour class with Boise enamel artist Delia Dante
Learn the unique and beautiful enameling technique of champleve (pronounced “shomp-la-vay”). This ancient technique involves filling liquid enamel in the indentations of a metal object. The raised portions of the metal will remain untouched while the brilliant enamel will be visible in the grooves.
This process has roots as early as the 1st century B.C. from the Celtics.

Create your own one-of-a-kind-piece from an assortment of pre designed pieces of copper for you to choose from. Chain and charms available for an extra price to finish your piece.
