After 33 years of outstanding service at Boise State, Professor Marcellus Brown will retire at the end of the 2022-2023 academic year. We have planned a weekend of meaningful events celebrating Prof. Brown's accomplishments and achievements during his tenure as Director of Bands.
This includes "A Legacy Celebration" concert, which features performances by the University Symphonic Winds, Treasure Valley Concert Band, and the Alumni Celebration Wind Symphony, made up entirely of Boise State alumni.
Following the concert will be a free and informal reception on the 2nd-floor lobby of the Morrison Center. Light refreshments will be provided, along with the opportunity to gather and celebrate Prof. Brown.
