The Idaho Prevention and Support Conference (IPSC) is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday April 12-13, 2022 as an in-person event with a virtual track option for those who can't join us in-person. The IPSC focuses on innovation, best practices, collective problem-solving and motivation to most effectively address youth risk behaviors, foster optimal health, and cultivate academic success for Idaho students. This statewide conference provides professional development for K-12 school personnel (teachers, counselors, administrators, school resources officers (SROs), school nurses, etc…), education stakeholders, youth development practitioners, community coalitions, law enforcement, juvenile justice, child welfare professionals, and advocates for youth and parents. Through inspiring keynotes, interactive sessions and networking opportunities, attendees will strengthen their ability to cultivate supportive school and community climates for youth.
Pre-conference sessions will be held on April 11th. Pre-conference sessions are offered for free, but their capacity is limited. Some pre-conference sessions are only available to specific groups.
This year's opening keynote speaker is Kristin Geez (author and founder of Advising Generation Z) and the closing keynote is Roberto Rivera (founder of Good Life Alliance and current member of the 7 Mindsteps leadership team).
