Looking for a unique way to access the Idaho State Museum’s collection? Want to get a look into artifacts that are not usually accessible to the public? Register early for the next Zoom History Happy Hour with the Idaho State Museum!
On June 17th Dr. Carol MacGregor (historian and lifelong Idaho resident), Sarah Phillips (Curator of Collections and Exhibits at the Idaho State Museum), and Janet Gallimore (Executive Director of the Idaho State Historical Society), join together to publicly “unveil” a new online resource, “Defining Style: Western Heritage Through Fashion.” Moderator Liz Hobson (Museum Administrator at the Idaho State Museum) will discuss with the panelists how a passion for clothing, history, and Idaho led to this new resource and the Idaho State Museum’s exhibition, Design, Color, Repeat: Exploring Patterns and Prints.
Join us for a night filled with fashion, history, and vision and participate in the audience Q&A. Make sure to visit our friend’s at Coiled Wines to pick up your sweet treats and beverages beforehand (their Rizza is said to go particularly well when talking fashion)!
Make sure to register early for this free event; space is limited to the first 100 registrants. Click the ticket link to claim your space today.
