Dr. Adam Knowles, Department of Philosophy, University of Zurich, explores the Nazification of German society. Students either experienced violence and intimidation or were confronted with decisions about how how to respond to rising authoritarianism. Knowles' research focuses on Holocaust Studies, fascism and totalitarian ideologies.
