All women are invited to the first annual, FEMSTEM: Party in the Park, at Ann Morrison, Old Timer’s Shelter on June 18th, 8:30am-12pm MDT, hosted by Idaho Women in Technology (iWIT) and Womeness Community. This free, fun, music festival style event is an opportunity for women to step into their bold by exploring empowerment by trying popup activities such as: Highland Games Stone throwing and sword dancing featuring World ranked Highland games athletes. Breathwork for healing. Mindfulness through sunrise yoga, the Idaho Rock Hounds teaching How to Rock hounding in Idaho. Hands-on Log Sawing and Hiking 101 presented by Idaho Trails. Try Krav Maga for Self Defense. BSU Kinesiology Department presenting “Best Practices for strength training” workshop. Drones and Science demos. Knot tying presented by the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council, a mindfulness tent, and more. iWIT and Womanness invites our community to uplift women, experience new things, hear our keynote speakers, explore mindfulness, help for anxiety and stress, outdoor activities, new sports, overall fitness. Combining elements of STEM that women can look at through a different lens. A completely new concept for Idaho. While connecting with women who uplift women to build relationships and create change. Girl Scout Troop leaders are encouraged to attend and be honored, to be celebrated for their contribution to uplifting girls. A special award will be given to honor and recognize a deserving girl scout leader.

FEMSTEM: A Party in the Park will feature 4 main stage events and pop-up demonstrations to explore your bold. This interactive event will kick off with Sunrise Yoga with DJ Imms at 8am. The main stage events start at 9am and will showcase: Dr. Satyavani Rising Speaking about “The Gift of Anxiety.” Ecstatic Dance, and so much more.
