How old are Saturn’s rings and moons?
Prof. Matthew Hedman
Physics, University of Idaho
The crown jewel of our solar system, Saturn’s iridescent ring system may be ephemeral, and its mystery has perplexed astronomers for centuries. Join Boise State Physics on Friday, Feb 7 at 7:30pm in the Education/Science Building, room 112 to hear Prof. Matthew Hedman of the University of Idaho’s Physics Dept describe the complex dynamics of Saturn’s rings and moons. After the lecture, we'll visit Boise State's on-campus observatory. The event is free and open to the public.
