Is there anything more romantic than Rachmaninoff? His Piano Concerto No. 2 features swoon-worthy melodies, heart-wrenching harmonies, and a sense of bittersweet yearning. This piece packs a satisfying emotional punch while also delivering some of the most impressive fingerwork you’ll see on stage. You won’t want to miss Haochen Zhang’s virtuosity in this romantic romp.

Hailstork’s Fanfare on Amazing Grace is a joyous explosion of sound – complete with soaring strings and brass fanfare galore.

Enjoy one of the great rediscovered American symphonies, Florence Price’s prize-winning First Symphony. With inspiration from African-American spirituals, a flair for the dramatic, and the tender use of folk songs, it’s no wonder Florence Price has become a favorite of Boise audiences.
