Details

Betty Hayzlett has worked in fiber since she was a girl making doll clothes, and as a college undergraduate, earned a degree in art; but it was a BSU weaving class plus a BAM felting workshop that brought her to what she is creating now. Using primarily hand-made felt, incorporating other media and processes, her current work combines fiber with wood in all its incarnations, from twigs, roots, and slices of trees. See it during in March at Art source Gallery. Artist reception: March 5 from 6 to 9 pm. Wine: Indian Creeks, Music: Wayne White, snacks: ASG.
