Art Source Gallery is proud to showcase watercolor paintings by Dave Hayes in August. Hayes paints birds and animals of the western sagebrush steppe, desert and forest ecosystems. Opening reception First Thursday, August 5, 6-9 pm, with music by JB Duo and wine by Indian Creek Winery.

Profits from sale of his work benefit Wildlands Defense and Advocates for the West. After Hayes retired from the US Forest Service he studied painting and sculpture, earning a BFA at BSU in 2003. He has studied with Charles Reid and other noted instructors. His work is also shown in Hailey, Idaho, at Rooted in Nature.
