Our in-room short film festival 39 Rooms features a revolving showcase of the best new short films from all over the world, playing on a continuous loop in each of the 39 rooms of the Modern Hotel (on Channel 39, of course).

39 Rooms has been playing on channel 39 in the Modern’s rooms for 10 years! This season (2024-25), we’re revisiting some of ours and our guests’ favorites. Hopefully your favorite is included!

Each season the program includes dramatic, documentary, experimental, and animated films. If you enjoy the films, please let the front desk know so that we can relay your compliments to the filmmakers.
