Liz Johnson - Pocatello, ID
My father taught me to drive when I was 12 years old, on the farm in Gooding, Idaho. I learned to drive in his 1939 Ford Pickup. 1939 Ford pickups are rare because only 15,000 were built. Ford was focusing on making jeeps for the war effort at that time. My husband went on a nation wide search to find this particular truck for me. Every time I drive it I think of my dad. My brothers want to take it rabbit hunting to remember the old days. This is a great way to honor and remember my dad on this father's day.
