How does the card work?

You can purchase a Gift Card for anywhere from $5 to $500 and spend it at as many different places as you like! The Gift Card will work at more than 230 participating merchants.

If the gift card isn't used after one year, account maintenance fees of $2.50 per month will be deducted by EML each month from the card balance beginning the day after the 12th month from the issue date of the gift card/last time card was used. To check the issue date on your gift go to www.getmybalance.com and enter your gift card number, or call 1-800-755-8713.

State legislation restricts our ability to distribute cards in some states. Thus, we will not sell cards to purchasers located in CT, HI, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI or VT unless both the shopping center and the purchaser are in the same state.

The Downtown Boise Gift Card is issued by Pathward, N.A., Member FDIC.

Orders on this website cannot exceed $3,000 for a single transaction.

FAQ

CAN YOU ADD GRATUITY TO FINAL SALE?

Unfortunately, you cannot add gratuity after the transaction is complete. You can ask the merchant to incorporate a TIP into your final sale or leave a cash TIP.

WHY WAS MY CARD ‘REJECTED’ AT A PARTICIPATING MERCHANT?

One of two reasons:
1. Your purchase exceeded the amount available on the gift card. You will need to provide another form of payment.
2. The merchant does not have an active point-of-sale system.

DOES THE GIFT CARD EVER EXPIRE?

Your card will never expire, however, if the card is inactive for a year, EML (third-party provider) will charge a $2.50 maintenance fee for every month of inactivity.

COULD IT BE EMAILED TO ME?

Downtown Boise Gift Cards are physical cards that function like credit cards. Online sales can be shipped or purchased at one of our Downtown locations.

WHAT IF I LOST MY GIFT CARD?

Some gift card information is required to perform a reissue. Please email info@downtownboise.org to assist you.
