A Color Film Developing Workshop

Color film can feel intimidating — but it doesn’t have to be.

In The First Reveal: C-41, you’ll learn how to confidently develop your own color negative film using the C-41 process in a guided, small-group setting. From loading your roll onto reels to understanding temperature control, timing, and proper agitation, you’ll walk through the entire workflow step-by-step.

This 1.5-hour hands-on workshop includes the required 15-minute Darkroom Safety & Expectations orientation. Once completed, you’ll be eligible to rent the darkroom independently for future developing sessions.

What’s Included

• All C-41 color developing chemicals

• Guided instruction through the full process

• Temperature + timing education

• Darkroom safety & expectations training

• Eligibility for future darkroom rentals

What to Bring

• One roll of exposed color negative film (C-41 process only, 35mm or 120)

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with fully developed color negatives — and the confidence to return and process your own film independently.

Color film isn’t complicated. It’s precise.

And once you understand the rhythm, it becomes second nature.
