A Black & White Film Developing Workshop

There is nothing quite like the first time you see your image come to life on film.

In this intimate, small-group darkroom workshop, you’ll learn how to develop your own black and white film from start to finish. From loading your roll onto reels in total darkness to carefully timing development and hanging your negatives to dry — you’ll experience the full magic of the process.

This 1.5-hour workshop includes the required 15-minute Darkroom Safety & Expectations orientation. Upon completion, you’ll be eligible to rent the darkroom independently in the future.

What to Bring:

• One roll of exposed black & white film (35mm or 120)

Whether this is your very first roll or your fiftieth, The First Reveal is about slowing down, trusting the process, and witnessing the quiet magic of analog photography.

You’ll leave with developed negatives — and the confidence to do it again.
