Deconstructed Watercolor Collage

Let go of perfection and discover a playful new way to work with watercolor. In this mixed-media class, participants will begin by painting sheets of watercolor paper with loose washes, blended colors, textures, and unexpected marks. Once the paintings are dry, we will tear and cut them into smaller pieces, then rearrange the fragments to create a colorful vase or pot filled with flowers.

This process-focused class is all about experimenting, trusting your instincts, and finding new possibilities in the artwork you have already created. No drawing or watercolor experience is needed, and every finished collage will be completely unique.
