Idaho filmmakers showcase their work in downtown Boise!

The latest Movie Mondays series at the Mad Swede Brew Hall shines the spotlight on the vibrant and productive film community right here in the Treasure Valley. Starting August 22 and going until at least mid-September, Monday evenings at the Brew Hall are dedicated to uplifting the work of local filmmakers. Enjoy short films and series made by Idaho's best, meet some of the filmmakers, and learn about what they might have coming up next.

Themes for each evening, as well as some of the featured filmmakers, are as follows:

August 22 - Comedy
Get some chuckles in with films by Cvlt of Colors, Mason Dodson, and more. Get $1 off pints of Naked Sunbather Nut Brown Ale all night.

August 29 - Horror/Action
Get your heartrate up with films by Wiser Wolves Productions, Jordan Gore, and more. Get $1 off pints of Thunder Feather Lite Beer all night.

September 5 - What a Weird World
This special evening of avant-garde film is hosted by Filmuseum Boise, an extensive archive of the best of Boise filmmaking. Get $1 off pints of Mundo Loco Mexican Lager all night.

September 12 - Drama
Get lost in the story with films by Lower Gentry Studios, Findley Productions, and more. Get $1 off pints Longship IPA all night.

September 19 - PREMIER of Playbill: The Musical
See the latest film by Capital B Productions, a 40-minute comedy musical starring local professional stand-up Nathan Scott Ford. Get $1 off pints of Danegeld Golden Ale.
