EFx Boise is a two-day event designed to bring the excitement, community, innovation, and vibrant experience of an American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) EFx event to engineering students at local colleges and universities worldwide. College students from across the western US will be racing custom electric trikes on both days in high-speed endurance and drag races. The event is Free to the public and also includes multiple free lighting talks, food trucks on site both days, and multiple social ours and networking sessions for those in the community who are interested in engineering or want to become more involved in the field. The talks are very open ended and focus on larger topics from manufacturing and commercialization, 3d printing, moving to STEM, and much more! The event is being hosted by the Mechanical Engineering Club at Boise State in collaboration with ASME & Mechanical Engineering Department.
