We gathered at Boise Centre on September 23 to recap important Downtown Boise developments in 2025, honor our neighbors who made a unique difference in our downtown, and take a detailed look at what makes Downtown Boise a youth-friendly city.

Heather Allan from Communities for Youth hosted a panel discussion on why welcoming young Boiseans into our businesses and community spaces is vital for a healthy and vibrant downtown.

The 2025 Downtowner of the Year award was presented to Brian Mercil, Director of Internal Audit for the City of Boise, to honor his diligent work on the 2025 DBA Assessment Audit. Thank you, Brian!
