Boise State University will host “Women! Reverberate!: Idaho Women Artists in Conversation” on Saturday, February 28th from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at the Keith and Catherine Stein Luminary in the Center for Visual Arts.

The event celebrates women authors and artists across demographics and disciplines through dynamic art installations and storytelling from some of Idaho's most influential writers.

Guests to the event can engage with and enjoy digital art installations on themes of identity, immigration, and loss, or listen to poetry, stories, and essays performed by women authors from across the state.

Featured artists include Kirsten Furlong, BSU Art Department faculty, MJ Pope, a BFA student, and Luma Jasim, an Iraqi-born artist who attended residencies at Yaddo and MASS MoCA and received an Alexa Rose Foundation Fellowship in 2021.

Featured writers include Diane Raptosh, a former Idaho Writer-in-Residence and National Book Award nominee; CMarie Fuhrman, a Pacific Northwest Book Award recipient; Rebecca Evans, a BSU alum and recipient of a Women Making History award; Hannah Rodabaugh, a BSU instructor and recipient of an ICA Literature Fellowship; and Chloe Bliss Snyder, an MFA student slated to publish her first poetry collection in 2026.

The event is free, accessible, and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available. Registration is not required. For event questions, please email Hannah Rodabaugh at hannahrodabaugh@boisestate.edu.
