This summer, we will celebrate 30 years since the founding of the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights in 1996 and the beginning of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial, a globally recognized space for reflection, education, and action. All thanks to a set of visionaries who looked at what Idaho was known for and dared to imagine something different. Not a place defined by hate, but a symbol that would stand for human dignity.

Thirty years later, that vision is still rippling outward—because this was never just about Idaho and neither is our mission!

We invite you to join us on Saturday, June 20 for a block party celebration on our campus. We’ll gather as a community to celebrate three decades of impact and look towards the just and joyful future we’ll build together!

Our gathering will feature several family friendly activities:
“Meet the archive” outdoor museum
Crafts & resources
Speakers & musical performances
Anniversary treats
