Experience Shelly Johnson’s Urban Flower Series at Art Source Gallery. Through watercolor, Johnson explores the beauty of flowers flourishing in Boise’s overlooked urban spaces and the juxtaposition of nature and the built environment. The exhibition includes studio paintings and selected plein air works. Meet the artist during the opening reception and explore the exhibition. The exhibit runs through the month of October.
Opening reception: Thursday, Oct. 1, 5-9 p.m. Art Source Gallery, 1516 W. Grove St., Boise. Free and open to the public.
