The Idaho Film Foundation and i48 will host a screening of Troll Storm with special guest Tanya Gersh. Tanya will attend the event in person for a Q&A after the film, moderated by Boise State Public Radio Morning Edition Host George Prentice. They will be joined by Kali Cusimano, The Co-founder and Executive director of the Council for Holocaust Awareness in Idaho and the Communications director and Adult Learning Coordinator at Congregation Ahavath Beth Israel.
Troll Storm is a documentary that focuses on Tanya Gersh, a successful realtor and soccer mom whose life is turned upside down when Neo-Nazis unleash a troll storm against her and her family. In the face of an alarming growth of American fascism, she finds solidarity with her community by standing up, fighting back, and ultimately filing a landmark case for the First Amendment, setting a precedent that could shape America’s future. Tanya now lives in Whitefish, Montana, but grew up in Bellevue, Idaho.
