The Matador Celebrates Cinco de Mayo With Lively Street Party Featuring Music, Dancing, Tequila Tastings, Giveaways, Games and More Outdoor Party on 8th Avenue in Historic Downtown Boise from Popular Tequila Bar & Kitchen to Feature Delicious Food, Drink Specials Commemorating Mexican Culture, Heritage on May 5th, 2019 WHAT: The Matador, Boise’s popular bar and kitchen serving delicious made-from-scratch Mexican-inspired cuisine, hand-crafted cocktails and an extraordinary selection of tequilas, will celebrate the fifth of May in style this year with its first-ever Cinco de Mayo Street Party on Sunday, May 5th, 2019. Located on 8th Avenue, in the street in front of The Matador’s beautiful restaurant in historic downtown Boise, the outdoor party will include a host of celebratory elements—from DJ’s and live music to tequila tastings to giveaways and games—including a giant Jenga competition and cornhole. Festival-goers attending the outdoor party can enjoy mouthwatering food and drink specials from The Matador outside, including Street Tacos (Chicken, Carnitas or Beef) and Grilled Stuffed Jalapenos or Cazadores Margaritas, Modelo Beers (Draft) and Pacifico Beers (Cans). Revelers wishing to celebrate indoors may venture into The Matador’s beautifully-decorated bar and restaurant to enjoy delicious specials inside including Fried Tacos (Braised Chicken w/Black Bean Queso) ($2.00 for one or $5.00 for three) $7.00 ‘Cinco-Ritas’ (Cazadores Silver, Triple Sec, lime, lemon and agave), $7 Cazadores Shots, $5 Coronas (Bottles), $10 Deer & Beers (Cazadores Reposado + Corona).
