Event Schedule:

10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - Mo Willems's lovable characters Elephant & Piggie will be joining us all day, so get your cameras ready! They'll be posing for photos and visiting with fans all around the JUMP campus. Elephant and Piggie is a book series for early readers that began in 2007 with two books, featuring two friends: an antsy and serious elephant named Gerald and an exuberant and lively pig named Piggie.

10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - Listen to Boise Rock School student band performances in the JUMP Lobby & Amphitheater. Since its inception in 2008, Boise Rock School has been led by the belief that the best way to get individuals excited about learning music is to have them play in a group. They believe the band setting, coupled with a strong curriculum and student-chosen songs, achieves better results than any other teaching method.

10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. - Local Idaho author Mary Ann Frasier will be at the Rediscovered Books booth to sign copies of her new picture book, Wall to Wall: Mural Art Around the World. Mary Ann Fraser is an award-winning writer and illustrator of over 70 books for young readers, including Ten Mile Day, Milton & Odie and the Bigger-than-Bigmouth Bass, and Let It Grow. She is also a professional muralist.

10:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. - Enjoy a performance by The Boise Traditional Chinese Dance Group in the JUMP Amphitheater. The Boise Traditional Chinese Dance Group was started in 2004 as a cultural enrichment after-school program for the Boise Modern Chinese School. Over the years, the program has grown from one dance class to four dance classes and a performance group including both adult and children dancers, while still under the Boise Modern Chinese School.

10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. - Check out Boise Fire Department Engine 5 in the Touch-a-Truck Area and visit with Boise Firefighters. Learn about the important work that firefighters do to help keep our community safe.

12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m. - See the talented dancers from Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo perform in the JUMP Amphitheater. Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo was established in 2003 in Nampa, Idaho. Since then, the group has been committed to providing authentic Mexican folkloric dance education while sharing their time and talents through dance in Idaho.

Food:

10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - Come get your snack on with food & drinks sold by Thomas Cuisine in the JUMP Lobby. The menu for the day includes Sloppy Joe Sliders, Hebrew National All Beef Hot Dogs, Tortilla Chips with White Cheese Sauce, French Fries, Rice Krispie Treats, and Veggies & Humus.
