ABOUT THE SPECIAL
Sophie Hughes is trans. It’s adorable. Let’s talk about it, no? But don’t worry, her mix of personal anecdotes, absurd observations, and good old fashioned punchlines will defy even the grouchiest of grumps not to laugh. With over 20 years in comedy, Sophie can connect with audiences both on serious and lighthearted topics because she is an unstoppable force of likability. A full-blown sociable tsunami, when Sophie's headed your way, and there’s nothing you can do but soak in the charm.
Filmed in Sophie's hometown of Boise and released by comedy label Howl & Roar Records, SUCCULENT brings a sharp, honest, and hilarious perspective to stories about identity, resilience, and connection.

Produced by Marina Wool
