A powerful story of transformation returns to Idaho. Visit traveling exhibition Speaking Volumes: Transforming Hate from May 29th - August 8th, 2025 at the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights, the Erma Hayman House, and Albertsons Library at Boise State University.

In 2004, a former leader of one of the nation’s most virulent white supremacist groups defected—handing over 4,000 hate-filled “bibles” to the Montana Human Rights Network. In an incredible act of creative resistance, artists across the country reimagined these books into powerful works of art. Now, this compelling exhibition returns to Idaho for the first time since 2013 — reminding us of our shared history and the ongoing need to confront hate with creativity. Through art, Speaking Volumes: Transforming Hate challenges us to turn hate into hope and division into unity.
