Windows & Mirrors: Stories That Open Doors to Empathy and Identity
Reading fiction can lead a person to self-discovery. It can also open the way to a better understanding of others. This is especially true of Young Adult Literature, which is often focused on finding and clarifying one’s identity as well as building empathy for others. Join former school librarian and English teacher Gregory Taylor for an exploration of how the stories we read can open the way to insights and discoveries — about ourselves and those around us.
