FAQs
What is Cyanotype?
Cyanotype is a process of using UV light to print directly onto paper. Anything opaque that you place on your paper while exposing leaves a white shadow, and you are left with a very cool blue-colored print.
Why Matchboxes?
Sadie is an oil painter and multidisciplinary maker who explores how art can live in ordinary objects. Through her snail-mail art club, the Someday Club, she sends handmade matchboxes to members each month. She believes that it’s more important now than ever to integrate small sparks of creativity in your life.
Can I bring my own materials?
All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring in additional opaque or slightly transparent pieces you may want to print onto your matchbox.
