March is Women's History Month and we are celebrating with an event you will not want to miss!

Join us on March 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Trailhead (500 St. 8th St.), for "Living Legacies & Changemakers: Celebrating Idaho's African American Women Leaders", a lively panel discussion between five African American women changemakers in our community, highlighting their contributions to the arts, business, leadership, and advocacy. Featured panelists include:

Angelina Madry Wilson, Educator, Title I Consultant, and Erma Hayman's Great Granddaughter
Cherie Buckner-Webb, State Senator, Corporate/Non-Profit Leader, and Founder & Principal of Sojourner Coaching and Shibley Properties
Shannon McGuire, CEO at Spark! Strategic Solutions and founder of SupreME Moms and Project 8B
Shari Baber, CEO & Founder of Brown Like Me, Vice President & Program Director of the Idaho Black Community Alliance, Founder of Boise Soul Food Festival event, and owner of Cut-N-Up & Company
Trish Walker, CEO & Founder at Idaho Black Community Alliance, Vice President & Program Director Brown Like Me, and Vice President & Fiscal Sponsor for the Boise Soul Food Festival event.
Doors open at 5 p.m. This event will include a moderated discussion between panelists. Light appetizers and refreshments from Savory n Sweets and Barbarian Brewing will be available on-site. This is a ticketed, admission fee event (General Admission: $5; General Admission with Meal: $15). Registration required.
