Les Bois Film Festival screens nature and outdoor films inspiring viewers to forge a deeper connection with the natural world. Film screenings serve as a launching pad for building a community around conservation and wildland and working lands preservation in Idaho's Treasure Valley.

The inaugural Les Bois Film Festival event, which took place in March of 2016, was hugely successful, drawing a sold-out crowd to the historic Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise. For nine years before the creation of the Les Bois Film Fest, the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley had been hosting the Wild and Scenic Film Festival's traveling program, building a sizable audience for conservation and outdoor adventure films in the region.

The festival is hosted by the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley (LTTV), a 25 year old Boise-based non-profit organization is a nonprofit organization dedicated to land preservation and the protection of our open spaces.

Starting in 2023, the Les Bois Film Festival will be held at JUMP- Jack's Urban Meeting Place is a creative activity center in Boise, Idaho, with facilities for public meetings, workshops, and exhibition space. A collection of 52 tractors are on display at various locations in the facility.
