Firenza Pizza Boise is releasing the "Spud Man" pizza! We will be serving starting at 11:00 am until 10:00 pm.

PROCLAMATION 02/20/2020 IDAHO POTATO PIZZA DAY
WHEREAS, The Potato is the Idaho State Vegetable; and
WHEREAS, The fertile soil, clean air, clean water and temperate climate of Idaho combine to consistently produce the high-quality potatoes that have made Idaho famous; and
WHEREAS, Idaho grows more potatoes than any other state in this illustrious union; and
WHEREAS, The J.R. Simplot Company is one of the world’s largest frozen-potato processors. Simplot is a leader in producing specialty products for the food service industry with more than 1,000 products; and
WHEREAS, Duane Paris, owner/operator of Firenza Pizza Boise, and his daughter Jazmyn Davis shared their vision for an original Idaho-inspired pizza; and
WHEREAS, Simplot’s Executive Chef Michael Zeller and Food and Beverage Manager Dan Ozuna worked alongside Duane and Jazmyn to develop the handcrafted pizza “Spud Man"; and
WHEREAS, The recipe includes seasoned Idaho red skin potatoes, Alfredo sauce, sharp cheddar, bacon, chives, a finish of Firenza Pizza’s signature roasted garlic oil and a topping of crema, masterfully layered on a hand-tossed crispy pizza crust and
baked in a stone hearth oven at 775 degrees!
