In this hands-on workshop, you'll design and build your very own custom hula hoop, tailored to your size, style, and spirit. You’ll choose your tubing, pick your colors, and learn the basics of hoop sizing and taping. Leave with a beautiful, functional hoop that you created — and the ability to deepen your flow journey beyond our Spin Jams.

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:
Different sizes and types of hula hoop tubing
How to measure the ideal size hoop for yourself.
Cut the tubing with a PVC cutter.
Drilling and connecting the hula hoop with a snap rivet.
How to properly tape a hula hoop with both reflective and grip tape.
Problem solving at each step.

Since 2007, I've taught flow arts, performed in hundreds of shows, and participated in master classes in Paris, deepening my craft and connection to the global community.

My roles as Director of Operations for FireDrums and Shin of Vulcan Conclave have shaped my leadership journey, offering rich experiences in fostering community and event production.
I am currently a Regional Contact for Burning Man Project, and I am using my experience to foster meaningful connections and create inclusive spaces for artistic expression- through the transformative power of movement and prop-based flow arts.
