Event Description:
Civil discourse is the foundation of a healthy democracy, yet it feels increasingly fragile. The Do Good Conversation Series invites the Boise community to come together for From Barriers to Bridges, an evening exploring how to listen with courage, connect across differences, and foster respect even in the toughest conversations.

Featured Panelists:
- Sen. Melissa Wintrow – Idaho State Senator since 2020, college educator, and activist, with firsthand experience navigating the intersections of policy, activism, and dialogue.
- Greg Strimple – Political campaign strategist and advisor to gubernatorial, presidential, and senate candidates, with deep insight into the mechanics of political communication.
- Nancy Buffington – Public speaking coach and a core member of Boise State’s project Idaho Listens, helping communities practice the art of listening.

The Do Good Conversation Series is a local initiative designed to inspire meaningful conversations and practical solutions for a better world. Hosted by Idaho for Good and HMK Impact with support from Inspiration Alley and the City of Boise’s Arts & History Grant program, the series features cross-industry experts and diverse voices to spark ideas that benefit businesses, communities, and individuals.
