The Boise Jazz Society, in partnership with Boise State University's music department, will host a FREE informance (informational performance) in the Morrison Center recital hall. Seating is limited on a first come first served basis.
A little about the artist: Yotam Silberstein, a renowned jazz guitarist, blends bebop, blues, and global influences from South America, North Africa, and the Middle East. Born in Tel Aviv and based in New York, Silberstein’s music, praised by JazzTimes for its passion and by The New York Times for its innovation, reflects a deep love of jazz lineage and diverse idioms like choro, samba, and tango. His performances span prestigious festivals and venues worldwide, including Tokyo, Umbria, North Sea Jazz Festivals, Kennedy Center, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.
