Join us in Pioneer Village at the Idaho State Museum to journey through Idaho’s past on our outdoor Time-Travel Trail. Learn about geologic events, interesting creatures, and Idaho’s first inhabitants. You might be surprised to learn what Idaho was like long ago! After your sneak peek at the past, have a seat in the shade and sift through the sands of time. Uncover and classify the fossils of marine invertebrates that may have lived in Idaho's seas millions of years ago in our Fossil Dig Take & Make Kits.
Family Second Saturdays will take place on the second Saturday of each month. All ages welcome! Programming is free with Museum admission. Timed entry with limited numbers.
