A Pulitzer Prize-winning author, a Grammy-Award winner, one of the world’s foremost foreign affairs experts, and a stellar line-up of award-winning filmmakers, journalists, scholars, and Idaho political leaders will headline the 2023 Alturas Institute’s fall conference, “Conversations with Exceptional Women,” Sept. 20-22 at Boise State University’s Yanke Center, 220 E. Parkcenter Blvd. in Boise. Get your tickets before the conference sells out!

The theme of the Alturas event, “Courage is Contagious: Standing up for Women,” will feature preeminent leaders in a series of wide-ranging conversations focusing on women’s rights, gender equality, equal protection of the law, and other pressing issues and challenges confronting Idaho and the United States.

Information about tickets, the list of speakers, and the full agenda are available online at www.alturasinstitute.com. Admission to the conference is $195, including the keynote lecture by Dr. Fiona Hill (Dr. Hill was a national security adviser to three former presidents), the two-day conference, lunch, coffee and snacks throughout Sept. 21 and 22, and a no-host reception on site, beginning at 4 p.m.

Authors will be conducting book-signing sessions throughout the conference, with books available courtesy of Rediscovered Books.
