Campfire Stories is produced by Christian Winn, who has invited collaborators Rebecca Evans, Allison Maier, and Tomas Baiza to curate and host Season 11! We are thrilled for the opportunity to work with this amazing team.

Writers: Journalist Leah Sottile, sharing new book Blazing Eye Sees All: Love Has Won, False Prophets, and the Fever Dream of the American New Age; Educator and fiction writer Amanda Patchin, sharing two speculative short stories – one angelic and one demonic – and speculative haikus.
Allison Maier
I am a Boise-based writer with a background in newsrooms, nonprofits, and libraries. My nearly two decades of professional storytelling experience have spanned newspapers, magazines, web publications, literary journals, podcasts, and theater stages. I spend my evenings puzzling over screenplay drafts, short story experiments, and zine schemes with the assistance of an elderly border collie mix.
Leah Sottile
Leah Sottile is the author of two books: Blazing Eye Sees All and When the Moon Turns to Blood. Her journalism has been published by The Washington Post, The New York Times Magazine, Playboy, Rolling Stone, Outside, the BBC, The Atlantic and High Country News, where she is a correspondent. She is the host of the podcasts Hush, Burn Wild, Two Minutes Past Nine and the National Magazine Award-nominated series Bundyville. She lives in Oregon.
Amanda Patchin
Amanda Patchin is a freelance writer and education consultant from Boise, Idaho. She reads a bit more than average and loves nothing more than conversation about a good book. Her love of the written word occasionally produces a poem or an article and her love of food often produces dinner.
