This performance celebrates the Centennial of Women’s Suffrage with works by five of America’s most distinct musical perspectives. Rebecca Clarke and Florence Price were trailblazers of the first half of the twentieth century, paving the way for future generations of female composers. Stacy Garrop, Valerie Coleman, and Jennifer Higdon are three of today’s most influential voices.
