Boise Comic Arts Festival is turning 10 and roaring back to life! After two years of virtual and hybrid events, we’re thrilled to return to a full-scale, in-person extravaganza celebrating comics and fandom, with all the features you know and love (Artists’ Alley, cosplay, panels, performances, and workshops) at new and exciting venues, including Zoo Boise! We’re also adding a third day to the event focused on programming for librarians and educators. BCAF X is a fun, FREE, family-friendly celebration of comics and fandom hosted by Boise Public Library.

Friday, September 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Librarians & Educators Day at the Idaho State Museum, (610 Julia Davis Dr). Registration required.

Saturday, September 17 from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. (last Zoo admission is 5 p.m.)- BCAF X at Zoo Boise, (355 Julia Davis Dr). Events will include cosplay competitions, presentations, performances, and an outdoor Artists' Alley with creators, vendors, and exhibitors spread out over the 17 acres of Zoo Boise. Additionally, we’ll have some activities in Julia Davis Park just outside the entrance to Zoo Boise.

All BCAF events are free to attend, but registration is required to enter Zoo Boise for the festival on Saturday.

Sunday, September 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - BCAF X at Boise Public Library, (715 S. Capitol Blvd) and the Idaho State Museum, (610 Julia Davis Dr). Events will include panels, workshops, and gaming.
