The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights was founded in 1996 for the purpose of constructing a memorial to human rights. That vision became a reality when the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial opened to the public on August 16, 2002. Join us for the community celebration marking the 15th anniversary of the Memorial and the groundbreaking of the "Marilyn Shuler Classroom for Human Rights" on August 16, 2017, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Several speakers will be presenting during the event. Food and entertainment will be provided by: - Food vendors: Bombay Grill, Kanak Attack, and Rhapsody Andy's shaved ice) - Entertainment: Ballet Folklorio, Marimba Boise, and Oliver Thompson and Danny Beal
